Frequently asked questions (FAQ)
Here you can find answers to frequently asked questions.
What requirements do you need for the high ropes course?
The system may only be used if you are fit enough. This applies, for example, to the musculoskeletal system, epilepsy, cardiovascular diseases, pregnancy or recent operations. The maximum weight is 120kg, the minimum weight for the 13-meter heroic jump is 25kg.
Which clothes are recommended?
Sturdy shoes, such as normal street shoes or trekking shoes are good for climbing. Clothing should be comfortable so that you can move around easily. We recommend using gloves (e.g. cycling gloves).
How am I secured?
With helmet and belt. You will receive your safety equipment from one of our employees, who will also help you to put it on. After a short briefing you will be hooked into the course with our safe circulation system (Rope Roller). You will only come out of the safety system at the end of the course. If you can’t get further into the course, one of our safety trainers will release you.
Do I have to book in advance?
Groups from 10 persons should book in advance. If you want to make sure that you can climb without waiting, you should do so as well. You can make your reservation by phone under 07309 425 959 or by E-Mail. During opening hours, individual visitors and small groups can come to climb without prior notice.
How about the weather?
We are open in almost any weather. In case of thunderstorms, storms and extremely heavy rain, the facility will be closed for safety reasons.
What is the procedure on site?
After the safety briefing and a short introduction to the safety rules of the high ropes course by our trained trainer personnel, you can then climb 1.5 hours in the various courses independently and on your own responsibility.
